I live in Elm Creek with my wife Carol and my son T.J., who is a senior at Elm Creek High School. I'm a native of Minden and I graduated from high school there in 1992. I have been the sports director at KRVN since 1997. Before that, I worked three years at KUVR in Holdrege. I attended broadcasting school at the Brown Institute in Minneapolis, and I attended Central Community college in Hastings for a year as well. I enjoy announcing our local sports broadcasts and putting together the sports reports on KRVN AM & FM. I have been fortunate enough to win 19 sports awards from the Nebraska Broadcasters Association and Associated Press during my time at KRVN. I also announce the midday show on the River from 10 until 2 each weekday.
